This magazine, the Courier, is published by the Shanghai Expat Association. I have been volunteering with them since September.
My first job was, and still is, magazine delivery for our compound, Green Court II. I know! It's like a paper route, but I only deliver five magazines once a month. It's a little self-serving as well because one of those magazines is for me.
The Courier is a glossy publication with beautiful photos and many helpful, informative articles, which I now proofread. I'm even on the masthead! How exciting! I must admit there is a certain thrill seeing one's name in print.
I'm now considering becoming an editor, only because I was asked.
I have to give that one some thought.
