Elizabeth gets cheesy March 14, 2011

After Blair's departure, I needed a pick-me-up. As I've said before, managing my attitude is Job 1 here in Shanghai. What better way to do that then with a foray to the recently-opened Kerry Parkside Hotel? My friend Beth, the "Date Master", took me there and showed me all the delights.

Our first stop was the lounge, where we indulged in a cheese plate.

Eat up, kids, this is dinner.

The Cheese Room

They actually let us in!

Gouging out parmesan.

A closer look
Wipe up that drool...you know who you are, S!

Beth and I were escorted upstairs to their restaurant that is still under construction.
It's called The MEET (not a typo) and its speciality will be, wait for it, meat.

Now the steer horn lights make sense!

Back downstairs, Beth and I wrapped up our evening
with a pint at their microbrewery called The BREW.

There's also a huge dining space called The COOK with 11 cooking stations serving up all kinds of food, from sushi to Malaysian to sandwiches. I will definitely have to go back to check that out!
